Summer/Short Programs

Overview

2 - 4 week programs where students gain experiential knowledge from being in a different country, as they get to know its people and immerse in its culture. Projects are customized to meet the specific academic objectives of disciplines and faculties or schools.

With twenty years of experience working in and with universities, we understand the need to provide a program that combines academic interests, cultural immersion, and some fun!

And because we are in the region and have extensive networks, we can manage risk through access to bona-fide partners and reliable service providers. We develop the program per your academic requirements and use our local logistical knowledge to meet your budget.

Customizable programs are designed to suit the specific budget, academic requests, and cultural curiosity.

Site visits and meetings are arranged with relevant industry groups, companies, government departments, and/or local universities.

Discipline-specific discussions and presentations by relevant experts provide local and global perspectives.

Networking with local Alumni groups are a great way for Universities to maintain connections and for students to mingle with their peers.

What’s included?

  • ‘Race around KL”, orientation and welcome lunch.

  • Accommodation according to program budget (minimum 3-star hotel for programs in the city, homestays for programs outside the city).

  • Farewell dinner.

*sample itinerary may vary based on specific needs and requirements of faculties and students. TGS manages the schedule according to travel times and dress codes at various sites, adjustment to the local climate and food, and recognises that not all students are well-travelled and may require more care durign the first few days.
