How it works.

  • Step 1

    Consortium partners advertise and select students who have completed at least one placement.

  • Step 2

    Students register with TGS providing details of methods / specializations, and grade / year level required for the practicum.

  • Step 3

    TGS liaises with the Education Counsellor at the Australian High Commission who liaises with the Malaysian MOE, who selects the schools. Schools identify mentors with a good command of English.

  • Step 4

    TGS allocates PST’s to schools (min 2 - max 4), ensuring each school has students from each university, where possible.

  • Step 5

    The PST’s are accompanied by academic staff from the consortium members who visit the schools daily to observe and provide feedback.
